CNET Buzz Out Loud podcast, reported that the national cell carriers where going to put on the market, a device that will create a wifi hot spot using a 3g connection. Of course with this device you will not be able to use your current data plan that comes with your phone, because that would be cheap and useful. They will probably try to sell you this device with an extra data plan.
In this video I will show you how to use your s60 phone to create a wifi hotspot, using your existing data plan and nothing more to purchase. The application is free. (Apple, At&t, Verizon, this is the type of cool stuff you can do when a phone is really open…I guess that’s why you are scared.)
One thing I didn’t mention in the video, was that you can create an encrypted connection as well as an open connection.
