Stream FROM your smart phone

There is a craze going on right now for mobile streaming.  Getting media on your mobile phone is something that interests a lot of people.  There are a few companies out there however that is discovering the other side of the equation.

I have been testing 3 programs that stream video from the camera on your phone to a web based service even allowing for real time broadcasting.  kyte.tv, qik.com, and flixwagon.com are the services that I have been testing.  All three consist of a program that is loaded onto your phone, in my case Nokia E71, and a website in which people can go and watch your clips. 

Right now the service that I am leaning towards is Kyte but I am going to try all the services some more and post a review.

E71

I recently bought a Nokia E71.  My old phone the N82 was an awesome
phone. Functionality wise it was everything I could want. One thing I never
quite got over about that phone was it was but ugly. 

Enter the E71.  When I hold the E71 in the hand it feels
solid. There are no squeaks or noises beyond the satisfying click sound of the
buttons.  As far as comfort it isn’t as comfortable, in your hand, as the
N82 with its curved back edges.  But we are talking about looking cool not
comfort. 

I thought that I would not like the E71 all so much because I
thought I was sacrificing so much from the N82 functionality wise.  I can truly
say that the only thing I really miss Is the camera everything else is on par
or better then the N phone. Right now it is collective better than any phone I have
ever had.
